Ensuring a thriving local economy, protecting our countryside and environment and making our waterways cleaner for future generations are key priorities for our community.

We’re already:-

  • Boosting payments and cutting-edge technologies to farmers, to make it easier for our local farming industry to thrive by expanding farming schemes this Summer.
  • Putting 1,280 police on the beat in Greater Manchester to tackle rural crimes, including many right here in Hazel Grove Constituency.
  • Empowering police officers to respond to livestock worrying incidents, making it easier to seize and detain dogs to prevent further attacks.
  • Investing £150 million in communities like ours to fund local pubs and sports venues, and cutting business rates to help local business owners in our area.

Our local farming industry is so important to our community here in Hazel Grove constituency. That’s why we’re massively expanding schemes to boost payments and speed-up cutting-edge technologies to local farmers this summer.
